I am fortunate that through my short career as a writer, to have been featured, with Book Clubs, Web Magazines, and Blogs. Below I have highlighted a few of my features and Thanks to all that have showed support.
Author: Elizabeth Funderbirk
Book title: Love TORN Asunder
African-American History Examiner (AAHE): What is your book about?
Elizabeth Funderbirk (EF): Love TORN Asunder, is a twisting drama centered around an adulterous affair. Trusts are broken, friendships are tested, and loyalty is questioned in this tangled web of deceit.
Leslie is a successful, beautiful woman with a dedicated man by her side. However, when an extended absence on her dream mans behave, makes her insecurities rise, her lustful choice to see if the grass is greener causes a domino effect in the lives of the five main characters.
Leslie will have to confess her sins and deal with the revelation that not everyone who claims to be your friend has your best interest at heart.
A scorned wife, a betrayed lover, a two timing Casanova, a bitter vamp, and a flawed temptress…. will they find redemption in the end?
AAHE: How did you pick the topic for Love TORN Asunder?
EF: I wanted to write a novel that dealt with the dynamics of relationships. Not just the relationship between lovers but also, those we encounter in our everyday life. To really dive into the delicate balance it takes to navigate these bonds. The topic of an affair being the catalysis of this Novel was a perfect way for me to dissect all the people who are really affected by such an act. This in most cases extends further than the two parties involved. I believe that most of my novels will deal with Relationships
AAHE: How is Love TORN Asunder different from other books that cover the same or similar information?
EF: The topic of an affair is not new to the written word. This story is however unique because of the way I allow each charters the forefront to explain their side of the story. Each character is written in a definable voice that is their own. Although this story line is nothing new my delivery has its own presence. This story is fictional but written from a very real place, which is what makes it one of a kind.
AAHE: What do you like most about being an author?
EF: The freedom to express myself on my terms. To create a book that was not only relatable but also entertaining for the reader. I have wanted to be an author for some time. One thing or another stopped my progression. Now that I released the doubt from others and my own mind, I feel free in pursuing my dream. I had no idea what it meant to get a book published when I started this journey. Now that I am slowly tip toeing my way through the door, I know this is what I was meant to do. At the end of the day, I am proud of the small feats I have won along the way. Such as just completing my debut novel, then to have it actually available is a blessing that I cannot even describe. What I like most, is that I had a dream, I worked hard, made some wise choices, some not so much, but I can show my children that this is the reward for hard work. Accomplishment!
Thanks to Faydra Deon for the opportunity.
1.Tell us a little about you.
I am a Full Time mommy of 3 Beautiful children, Soon to be wife to the dreamiest man I have ever met (wedding in Sept.), Client Rep. for a toy distributor, Blogger, and Now Published Author of "Love TORN Asunder" my debut novel. These are the working elements of my life that keep me grounded. I am passionate about everything that I take on. I just have a issue with taking too much on. :-)
2.When did you first consider yourself a writer?
Well, I began Blogging about My Journey to complete My novel in 2009. "Trials, Tribulations, & Torn" (www.writingtorn.blogspot.com) It's a Journal of the things I went through on a Personal level and knowledge I gained on a professional level. I considered myself a writer when there were people that reached out to me on certain articles that I have written. They either asked more questions, said they related, or simply Thanked me for sharing what I have learned. I didn't know how many if any would read it.... So, when I knew I had an audience that made me realize that I am already building my name and brand.
3.What do you do for fun and relaxation?
Read! :-) That is were my passion for books came from. I also LOVE to go and get a pedicure. I grab a Starbucks Frap and I am able to sit and relax. That is usually when I go over my personal calender and make sure that I am on top of whatever projects that I have going on.
4.Where do you see yourself as a writer ten years in the future?
Oh boy... for the immediate future I see the "TORN" series out in publication. That is a 3 part 4 book Series. "Love TORN Asunder" being book one. Further out... I want to continue to sharpen my skills as a writer. I pray that I am able to pen books that are relatable and entertaining. I want my books to give people something to talk about. That is why I think this book is such a great book club read. I would like to broaden my scope as well. Meaning I consider my writing to be contemporary drama genera. Eventually I would like to spread my wings and see where I can go in different genera's.
5. What do you hope to write in the future?
Beside the "TORN" series being my top priority right now. I have an idea to write a book based on several couples. I want to Interview them and write on each of there personal stories. You know that saying "You Never Know What Happens Behind Closed Doors." Well, I want to know! I want to bring light to the different dynamics of a few families in different stages of their lives.
6. If you could do a joint writing venture with another artist, who would it be and what would be the nature of the work?
Just One??? OK, I would have to say Carl Weber. The reason being, I would definitely want to work with a man. To have the XY & XX chromosome collaboration. It would be an interesting dynamic. I would like if we could decide on a concept and he wrote ONLY for the male point of view and myself ONLY the female. Therefore I know he would up to doing something of that nature. He is a GREAT author and I believe that his drama sequences are intriguing. Together we could really do an excellent Book.
Thanks To: Patrice & Everyone at RIM , For making me Junes Author of the Month.
7. How do you publish your books? (E-Book, Self published, or Traditional) Why did you chose that mode?
"Love TORN Asunder" is published in collaboration with a Independent publishing company, Emerald Star Press. My novel is available on-line through all major book retailers, In E-Book format through Kindle & Nook, and on My website "Literary Liz Writes" www.LiteraryLiz.com as well as My publishers website www.emeraldstarpress.net. Originally I thought I would have my book Traditional Published. I had no idea how the Literary Community worked. I thought I would write a fabulous book, submit it and BAM! Someone would love it and I would be on my way. WRONG! :-) It is more difficult then people who want to enter this field realize. That is when my research began. Research is imperative for success. I started late. I was writing, researching and trying to get my footing all at the same time. I knew when I began that I did not want to go the Self Publishing route. There was still so much that I needed guidance on like Distribution. There are Pro's and Con's to each. You just have to know exactly what you want. Have a plan on what methods and steps you need to make in order to achieve it. Including the funding it will take. THEN decide what is the best fit for you as an individual. Essentially I hired one company to assist me on my Journey. Where You need various services to prepare your Manuscript to be published. Such as Typesetting, Printing, and Distribution. Instead of seeking these services from various sources, that is what Emerald Star Press did for me. I am happy with the route I chose. It's important to know your strengths. That was and is not mine. So, I found a company that was willing to work with me and be patient in the process. I am completely satisfied. After the writing was complete, I hired a Editor prior to me submitting the Novel, I also had a Book cover concept. I had that done as well. I had it hand drawn with many revisions until it was just the way I pictured.
8.What advice would you give to fellow authors?
Research! Like I stated before it is imperative. When the writing is complete there is so much more that needs to be done in order for your project to be a success. If you are unaware of those many elements it can cause you to have to go back to the drawing board. Weather you Self Publish, Traditional, Independent, or E-book. You are solely responsible for your success. Never leave that in that hands of others. Stay on top of Everything. Ask as many questions as you need to have clarity and then ask some more. I had a problem with not wanting anyone to think I was questioning there professionalism in this process. Then I realized that if I don't have an understanding in whats going on, I have given up my ability to control my Brand and the outcome of my future. A professional will not be uneasy about your quarries.
9.What project are you working on now?
Right now I am trying to gain exposure for "Love TORN Asunder". Also, Ironing out the details for the release of my second book. Which is already complete. So the release date for that Novel, The cover concept, and setting up Book Club meet and greets. Besides that I am currently writing book number three, and have a out line for book number four.
10. Is there anything that you would like to say to your readers and fans?
THANK YOU! :-) I am elated that "Love TORN Asunder" is receiving such good reviews. To know that people who don't know me only know of me are reading my words, a book that I worked so hard to make an interesting and intricate need is so amazing to me. I cant wait to hear more feedback on what people really think about my Book. The support makes all the hard work so worth it.

This is one amazing author Elizabeth Funderbirk, when saying that there is heat in the kitchen, this Literary Diva Liz brings some very sizzling , tantalising, sensual drama. This book will have you looking for the fireman with his fire extinguisher. Because the way this phenomenal writer has pour her heart and soul into this novel! We look forward into seeing what she does next we would like to call her the next Zane move over there is another hot and steamy diva bring some heat to the table.
We recently had a chance to speak with the author of "Love TORN Asunder" Elizabeth Funderbirk from Mtyle Beach, South Carolina. This was such an amazing book Ms. Funderbirk was very eager to share with So Fyh Magazine Online about her journey as an author. She told us that she has always been a writer and wanted to become a published author was her dream. Ms. Funderbirk also wanted to show her children that whatever you put your mind to do, it can be accomplished with hard work , dedication and love for what you're doing. When reading "Love TORN Asunder" you will so amazed on how the characters of this novel will have you really wondering what where they thinking about or where they even thinking at all ? As with every page turning there was more that these characters ever had to endure.
"Leslie" deals with so much as single woman, that her pride has gotten the best of her, not wanting to ask for help when she really needs it. And she finds herself in a huge situation that she didn't even see coming. Now trying to juggle a career, relationship and moving in with her best friend when she needed too;only because her best friend "Devine," said she was coming and that was final. Now that "Devine" is something else she's a diva about her money, she works at "The Redd Rooster Inn," and to be honest a woman will do what she needs to do to survive in this world, but what else will she do ? Is the question.
Will "Devine" cross the line or has she already done it to make that all might dollar? Now "Leslie" has a boyfriend "Lincoln" the clean cut brother in suits that is all work and no play, but he seems to be all about business and forgets that he has a woman and keeps making excuses for why he works so much; because he wants to make a life for "Leslie" and "himself." " Leslie" is so lonely that she runs to arms of a married man "Kendrick" with shoulder length locs, yes! You heard that right she is sleeping with a married man! That is straight taboo, that's just not right at all! And "Kendrick" has the nerve to have caring wife at home that just wants to spend some Q time with her man.
Oh!! By the way "Mr. Married Man Kendrick" is the cousin to "Devine" who now "Leslie" lives with. So he is always at "Devine's" house so he can see and spend time with "Leslie" how convenient is that? He is there all the time and his wife has no clue what is really going on or does she know? We would like tell you more, but you'll just have to get your very own copy to see what mess they get into and how will they get out of it. We will leave you with this thought, what a wonderful book, it is filled with tons of drama, deceit, and some lives will be torn upside down, lives will be changed forever. Ms. Funderbirk has really out done herself in this book. We are looking forward to seeing what else she will do next with the characters in this amazing book! It was such as pleasure in speaking with Literary Diva Liz! I encourage everyone to please don't just take my word for it, get your own copy!
This book is available online at all Major Book retailers, at store locations by request and Kindle & Nook download.
Thank You to "SoFyh Magazine" For the fearture article.
What is your new book about?
"Love TORN Asunder"... is about a woman by the name of Leslie. The book will take you through the outcome of her being torn in her personal life. The choices she makes will effect every charter in the book. The book is written in the first person for EACH charter. I always say in life, people want the opportunity to tell their side of the story. In this book each charter has the chance to speak their personal truth.
What do you want your audience to take from it?
I want every person that reads "Love TORN Asunder", to get a GREAT read. When I sit down and read a book, I do it for the entertainment of it. The ability to get lost in the words of a well told story.
What inspired the book?
I have been writing on a personal level for some time. I never thought of pursuing it at this level. This book came from stories that were spinning in mind, people I have encountered, situations I have witnessed, and a good imagination.
As a writer, where does most of your inspiration come from?
This is a GOOD Question. I fell in Love with reading when I was young. I would read the Babysitters Club. That is where it started. As I grew to be an adult, I found myself boxed into a certain Genera of books. I am Fan of Eric Jerome Dickey. I read everything he puts out. Carl Weber, Mary B Morrison, E Lynn Harris. Then I was introduced to Urban Novels, again I fell in love. I stayed in that realm for a while. I tend to stick to an author and when I have exhausted there catalog I find Authors that have a similar style, but a whole new delivery. Kwan, Quinten Carter, Kiki Swinston, and Terri Woods. Then came Romance. I went though Kimani and Arabesque. Rochelle Alers, Adrianne Byrd, Beverly Jenkins and Gwynne Foster. I am no longer in a box. I read every genera. These are some of the Authors I love... However, there are many more.
What is one thing you want your readers to take from your books?
Think twice.... Respect boundaries and set your own. Or Live with the consequences.
Thank You Minolta C. White for the Feature on your Blog.
What's in the works for you next?
Love TORN Asunder is the begging of a series. There will be a second book that will follow close behind this one. A poem I have written will be feature in the June edition of Mattie's Periodicals. That is a quarterly publication that is dedicated to the Literary world. I may be apart of an Anthology also, the details are still being worked out on that.
What are some of the challenges you face as an author? How do you overcome them?
Finding time to write. I am a Mother, Planning a wedding, a Client Rep for a Big Company, on top of Marketing/Promoting my Debut Novel. Time is my biggest challenge. I have to just make time for the many titles I juggle in life. I get little sleep, because I usually dedicate late night hours when everyone is asleep to writing.
If someone wanted to write a book or memoir, what would be your best advice?
Take your time! Get to know the industry that you are entering. Writing the book is the easy part, the true Journey starts when your Manuscript is complete. Asks lots of questions and do even more research.
I believe you can get the answers you need and NOT burn any bridges along the way if you just approach the situation in a professional manner. These are business people and should appreciate that you are conducting business in such a positive and professional manner.
Self publishing or traditional?
Each have Pro's and Con's. My advice is to really THINK about what your needs are and what you expect.
What was your favorite book as a kid?
Wow... A book that stands out in my mind "Ten Boy Summer"part of the Sweet Dream series. Which I read them ALL. By Janet Quin-Harkin.
What's the best and worst advice or comment someone has given you about writing?
The Best : Don't pigeon hole yourself. Being an African American does not equate Urban. If that is not who you are, You will not express the story you desire to tell.
The Worst: You should publish this yourself. I say this was the worst, because I needed guidance. I have certain strengths. I know what these are. However, this was ALL new to me. I needed to learn more from someone who knew more. Not to say that this is the WRONG way to go from someone else. It just wasn't the way to go for me.
If there's one thing your readers wouldn't believe about you, what would it be? Why?
That I feel like a Socially awkward person. I think people see me interact on my social networks and feel like I am a social butterfly. I can be, but most of the time I think, I OVER think certain situations I am in.
Whom are some of your favorite writers?
Mya Angelo, Mary J Bilge, Notorious BIG, Jay-Z, Langston Hughs, Erick Jerome Dickey, Carl Weber, Sista Soulja. When I think of writers. I don't immediately think Author. I think of Poets, Story Tellers, Lyricist.
What's your daily motto or inspiration that keeps a smile on your face?
As long as I accomplish 1 thing on my never ending "TO DO" list... I am closer to my goal. I am closer to who I want to be.
1.) Tell us about your novels
Currently I am the Published Author of one book titled "Love Torn Asunder". The official release is April 30th and Can be found on My website www.LiteraryLiz.com for Pre-Sales orders. I have another book that will be released in the next 3 to 4 months. The details are still being ironed out.
2.) How and when did you first become a self-published authoress
After completing the writing of my Manuscript, I went about seeking an editor. I knew that I wanted to pursue having my work Published However, I also knew that I did not have the know how at that point to go at it alone. Because I needed to shop my manuscript, I knew the importance of having my work edited to be able to present a professional Manuscript. I chose to publish my book in collaboration with an Independent Publishing company. Emerald Star Press.
3.) How long have you been writing?
I have been writing on a personal level since I was a teenager. I worked on "Love TORN Asunder" For a little over a year.
4.) Do you have plans of being a traditionally published author?
At this point I dont know what the future holds. I am happy with the way things are manifesting at this time. In the beginning that was the objective. Over time and becoming more knowledgeable in this industry, I know there are Pros and Cons to Traditional Publishing and Self Publishing.
5.) Who inspires you as a writer?
I was inspired to write this book by my soon to be Husband. He was one of the very few people that I shared my writing with. With his encouragement I pursued my writing on a greater level. What inspires me to continue? My Children. I want to show them that no dream is to far fetched. I also want show them that all the time I spend writing, working on my craft, and all the work that it entails to become a successful Author was not for nothing. That I did not allow the doubt to win.
6.) What makes you stand out as a writer?
My writing style.... In wanting to tell the story from every angle. To allow each charter the room to grow within the story. I want the reader to be engrossed in that growth. I know that this in not a style that is all my own. This is just the way I write. I want the books I write to read as though you are having a personal conversation with each character.
7.) Where do you see yourself within the next several years?
My prayer is to have the "Love TORN Asunder" Series in publication. That is 4 books total. I would like my Blog ~Trials, Tribulations, and Torn www.writingtorn.blogspot.com to be a place where people go to get tips along the way on their writing Journey. I also have a small hope in the back of my mind to have "Love TORN Asunder" made into a DVD movie.
8.) What else do you do besides write?
I am a full time Mommy, Soon to be wife, A Client Rep for a Toy Distributor, Blogger..... I do many things besides Writing. I am fortunate that I love all the things that I do. Although my plate is full to the point of over flowing at times, I am happy and Blessed.
9.) Why did you decide to become a writer?
Well, I was sort of challenged to do so. Like I stated before, I have been writing since I was young. However, it was all personal. Never really for the purpose of publishing. My then boyfriend told me to complete the project that I had been working on, see where the writing took me if I dedicated myself to it. So, I did. Once I was complete, he said that I HAD to go to the next level. After alot of thought and prayer, I did just that. I was/am proud of the work I have done. I was so passionate when I was writing. I knew that this is what I wanted to be doing on a bigger scale.
10.) Who are your favorite authors?
This is a difficult question. There are really so many that I admire. I am a Lover of books. As I grew so did my taste in reading. I read every genera.
11.) What are your favorite books?
Wow...... I have alot of those as well. To name a few, I really like series. The "Gideon" Series by Eric Jerome Dickey, I absolutely loved. The "Left Behind" Series by Time LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins I read several times. It was Deep and I strongly recommend. There are so many more.... I could spend an entire day discussing books that I love.
12.) What is it that you most people do not know about you?
That I write poetry. Well, that is becoming more and more known. I am VERY self conscious about it though. I feel like I have alot of room to grow.
13.) Tell us what influences you to write the stories you write?
So many things. Life. One story for me, can come from several different situations that I have seen or been in myself.
14.) What are/is your biggest pet peeve(s)?
People who belittle others. I have a huge intolerance for that. To see/hear/read someone degrade or judge another without Merritt. I find that these people are lacking themselves and usually the ones that smile when you are around yet, question your character while you are not. It irks me beyond belief.
15.) When aspiring authors/poets approach you about getting their book published, what do you usually tell them?
Since I have started this Journey, I tell them to tread lightly. Be aware of the company you align yourself with and ask alot of questions. RESEARCH your industry.
16.) What is your advice to authors who are struggling with getting their book out to their target audience? Which innovative marketing ways would you suggest to new authors.
I have really used the Internet as be biggest tool. Promotion is Key. Since I am on a tight budget I look for the best way to get the word out without breaking the bank. Blog Talk Radio (BTR) is a great avenue. I have a network of friends on Face Book that have BTR Shows. I utilize that to speak about me, my novel, and my future projects. Also, there are a number of social networks that you can join and create a buzz around yourself and your Book/s and/or Events. Look into Free Press release sites. There are MANY. Where you can create your own press release and it will reach thousands. Contact Local radio and news papers, get the support of your Home town. These are some of the things that I have utilized.
17.) What do you think catapulted your success as an author? :-)
Am I successful? lol I would have to say that I am praying the quality of work that I have written will cement my success.
18.) Do you have plans to open your own publishing company?
You know at one point I seriously consider it. Then thought better of it. You have to work with your strengths. I dont believe that would be mine.... at this time. I am just starting in this industry. I always say that I am tip toeing in the door. Right now my focus is to develop as a writer and see what the future holds.
19.) Which well-known author(s) would you like to network with?
Hmmm... I would love to have a Eric Jerome Dickey, Kwan , Adrianne Byrd, Carl Weber, and Zane to name a few to Read and Review my Novel "Love TORN Asunder". I would love to get their feedback and hear where they think I can improve. Also my strengths. They are all diverse and to hear the opinions of such a well established yet different bunch would really be amazing.
20.) What is your advice to budding authors?
Be Prepared to WORK hard, to market, promote, network and establish yourself. Writing your Manuscript is the easy part.
Thanks To: On The Rise Magazine for the feature
The March author Interview is an author who is very active in the Nook Room it is Author Elizabeth Funderbirk-Rowe, she is the author of Love Torn Asunder as well as The Bitter Sweet Conclusion. If you havent checked out any of her books after reading this interview im sure that you will want to!!
Tiffany- Nook Readers Group Admin : Besides writing what do you do for fun? Do you have any other hobbies?
Elizabeth Funderbirk -(ME) : Of course, reading! I fell in love with reading when I was a young girl. The first book I read was “Ten Book Summer” by Janet Quin-Harkin. After that I made my mother get me every book in the “Sweet Dreams” series and have been passionate about reading ever since.
Tiff: What is your favorite book and who is the author? What makes this your favorite book?
ME: Oh man, this is a good question and so hard to pick just one. So I will name three that stand out in my mind. Let’s see, I fell away from reading for a period of time, when I was a teenager. You know teens have more important things going on…lol A friend loaned me a book that brought me right back. It was “Cheaters” by Erick Jerome Dickey. I absolutely love his writing style and have been reading whatever he publishes ever since. I feel like I have grown with him as his style explored new dimensions. Then there is “The Coldest Winter Ever” by Sista Soulja. When I read this book, I was blown away. That was my first time reading Urban Lit and the way she made the story play out like a movie was exciting to read. That was when I feel in love with the genera. I have a tendency to find a style I like and I stay there for a while. Going over the many authors that fall into the same category. That is when I found “Hoodwinked” by Quentin Carter. This book is gritty, fast paced and I recommend to anyone looking for a great street lit read.
Tiff: Which author or authors would you say have had the biggest influence in writing and why?
ME: I would have to say Erick Jerome Dickey, E-Lynn Harris, and Mary B. Morrison. As I said earlier, a friend passed me “Cheaters” and after that, I looked for books that were similar. These authors were the books I read through my twenty’s. I have been writing short stories, and songs since I was seventeen. Reading them made be believe that I too could possibly write an entire novel. Fear stopped me from pursing a writing career earlier on.
Tiff: What would you say is the best part about being an author?
ME: The best part about this Journey, is that I took it. I proved to myself that this was not a dream and I could do it. The fear I had when I was younger was based on the fact that no one really supported me. No one ever said you can’t be a writer. What they said was, you need to worry about a career where you can advance. Where there was stability. I became a mother at eighteen and becoming a writer was not an option for a young, unwed, single mom, this is what my mother told me. So, I listened. Being in a place in my life where I don’t have to choose working to survive and working on what I love is a Blessing and I am so thankful.
Tiff: What is a typical writing day like for you? Do you have to go anywhere special to write?
ME: This past year I have been able to stay home and work on building my brand and craft, thanks to my Husband. A typical day for me starts at 5:20. I began writing around 9:00 – 10:00 am. After I have cleaned the house, checked emails, and made coffee. I am in the process of writing my 3rd novel, so my day goes to writing and researching the details of the book. From 5:00 – 9:00 pm I don’t write at all. Unless, I am in the middle of a story line and I must complete it in order to concentrate on anything else…lol I am usually back at it around 11:00 until my eyes are too tired to work anymore. I don’t have a special place I write at all. When I started writing my debut novel in 2009, I wrote everywhere I could. I started writing in a notebook because I didn’t have a computer. When I was ready to format my notes into story form I would write at the Library, community center, and my mother’s house. Wherever I could use a computer. I can write with the world going on around me and not hear a thing.
Tiff: What inspired you to write your first book?
ME: DRAMA!!! Lol Although my debut novel is a fiction tale it is based on real life experiences. My characters are based on people I know. However, one character can be the mix of several people I have encountered. I used certain traits, circumstances, conversations, issues, and manipulated them to be what I needed to tell this story. The catalyst of the story being an affair intrigued me to tell a story where you were able to follow each person and his or her thought process through this type of ordeal. It was important to write each character in the first person to convey the emotions rather than them being dictated to the reader.
Tiff: How did you come up with the title Love Torn Asunder?
ME: Originally the book was title “TORN”. However, after some research I realized that title had been used many different times in many different genera’s. In wanting to have my book easy to search and original as possible, I changed the name to “Love TORN Asunder”. Which is the perfect description of this novel. Love torn to shreds.
Tiff: Are your books based on some of your own real life experiences or the experiences of people you may know?
ME: Yes and No. This book is absolutely pulled from some truths. However, I have changed things around and added a new level intrigue. First to make my novel and book worth reading and secondly to make it a work of fiction.
Tiff: We know you have Love Torn Asunder and The Bitter Sweet Conclusion. Are you currently working on any other projects? If so what are they and when should we expect them?
ME: “Love TORN Asunder” and “The Bitter Sweet Conclusion” are the first two installments in the “TORN” series. There will be two more novels to follow. The next being “Devine Intervention” which I am currently writing. I anticipate the release to be around May of this year. If you have read my debut then you know she is a character in the novel. This series follows three very different women on their journey to Realization and Redemption.
Tiff: Im sure you speak to your readers, but if you could tell them one thing, what would it be?
ME: THANK YOU! Writing a book and then offering it to the world to read and ultimately judge is a nerve wrecking process. You never know if you will be received well or at all. So, to those that have given me a chance, offered advice, encourage me, and support me…. I say Thank You with all my heart.
Tiff: Being an active author in the Nook Readers group can you describe the group using four words?
ME: Fun, Fresh, Active, and Welcoming! I am member of many groups on FB, and my participation in some has stalled. Here, the members are so on the same program and all about enhancing the reading experience. I like the group not only as an author but as a reader.
Tiff: Thank you soooo much for taking the time out to speak to me. In the beginning you didnt even know what i wanted I just asked for brave authors in the group and you were one of the two to take a chance with me and what I wanted to do, so because of that I am forever greatful!!!
ME: I want to Thank the Nook Group for Welcoming me and providing the opportunity! I am so humble and Thankful to you all.
